What’s the difference between the Language Test and Language Quiz?
The language test is a comprehensive evaluation of your linguistic skills mapped to the American standards of ACTFL or it’s European equivalent CEFR, which accurately determines your current proficiency level in reading, writing and listening. The test is available for 5 languages namely; Arabic, English, German, Italian and Spanish.

Can I test more than 1 language?
Yes! You can test your proficiency level in any of the available languages at anytime.

Can I return to an earlier test that I had left incomplete and didn’t submit?
No! Unfortunately you cannot return to an earlier test if you left the website or closed the browser. You will have to restart the test and make sure to submit it to get your results.

How long does the test take? Is it the same amount of time for the quiz?
The tests are quite academic in nature and can take anywhere between 1 — 2 hours depending on the language and your proficiency. The quizzes are much shorter in comparison and may take upto 30 minutes.

Where will I see the results after I complete the test/quiz? Will I receive the certificate immediately?
Once you complete the quiz and submit it for evaluation, you will receive the results immediately to the email you entered when taking the test/quiz. Please ensure that you submit the correct email, as we cannot retrieve the results/certificates which are sent to an incorrect email address. A link to download the certificate will be included in the same email.

Can I get a printed certificate?
Yes, you can print the certificate sent to your email and produce it to your employer or attach it to your resume. Unfortunately, we cannot mail you a paper-back version of your certificate at the moment. However, we may consider it in the future if there is enough demand for it.

Is it free?
Yes, it’s absolutely free to take the test/quiz and see the results. However, you will need to pay a small fee to receive the certificate.

What if I do not receive a certificate after completing the test/quiz?
You will receive an email within minutes with the results after you have completed the test/quiz and submitted it for evaluation. Please make sure to enter the correct email address at the time of submission as we cannot retrieve the results/certificates which are sent to an incorrect email address.

If you have entered the correct email address and still have not received the email, please check the spam/junk folders in your email inbox to see if the email has landed there.

Where can I share my certificate?
If you are currently employed, you can share your certificate with your employer or with your HR Manager to add to your Continuous Professional Development (CPD). You can also share your certificate online to your network on social media such as LinkedIn. If you are currently unemployed or are open to opportunities, then you can add the certificate to your profile/resume and share it on networks such as LinkedIn for any future employers to see.

Can I share the results/certificate on social media?
Yes, absolutely! In fact, studies have shown that people who share their achievements and accomplishments online through social media and especially on LinkedIn are three times more likely to be hired or land a promotion.

How do I share my certificate on LinkedIn?
When you receive your certificate in an email, you will notice that there are a few social share icons such as for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. You can easily share your certificate and your results by clicking on any of these buttons and posting to your favorite social network.

Alternatively, you can download the certificate to your phone or computer and post it to your social network just like how you post normally.

What is the difference between GMAT and GRE?
GRE is used as part of admissions for a wide variety of graduate school programs, while the GMAT is only used to apply to business schools.

What is the difference between SAT and TOEFL?
SAT and TOEFL are both used for making admission decisions, however, TOEFL can also be used in other instances like applying for a job in the U.S., internship or something else.

SAT is most likely a requirement for all students (domestic or international) when seeking admission to American universities, however, TOEFL is only required for international students to prove their knowledge of English language.

SAT is a paper-based test whereas TOEFL is a computer-based test.

How much does it cost to get a professional certificate when I complete the test/quiz successfully?
The language test certificate is normally priced at $9.99 and the quiz certificates are priced at $4.99. However, we may occasionally offer discounts/special offers, so make sure to subscribe to our newsletter and watchout for any announcements.

What is testing anxiety?
It is a condition where individuals experience high levels of stress before or during a test situation. It can a be a very serious situation that impacts results and the learning process.

How to stay calm before an important test/exam?
The number 1 tip is be prepared as best you can. Do simple breathing exercises. Get a good night’s sleep. Focus on the test and not the results.
